There are ‘N' ways to earn from your blog and rich the desired financial freedom, but you must keep in mind that running a blog and make it work for you requires attention, commitment, and regular updates.

#1- Is Blogging Still a Good Source of Income?
If you want your blog to make you money, you'll need to treat it as a real business.
To work well and pay off, you'll need some business tools and learn some new skills.
Treating it as a hobby won't make you money.
Hobbies are for just for fun.
How much you will make is entirely dependent on your efforts and commitment.
Decide on your priorities, and your online business needs to go on the top of your list.
I know you'll probably still thinking about your housework and your kid's priorities, not to mention your aging process.
Are you thinking now: ”I don't have the patience to learn new skills now. When will I get all this done?”
I know, I hear you!
You have more time than you probably think right now. You need to figure out what exactly you want to do.
As from experience, it will probably take anything from six to 12 months to start seeing results with your blog.
Look at The Big Picture
Once the hard part of building your business foundation (the right way) is done, your work will be much more relaxed and far more rewarding.
On the other hand, if you write about something you're passionate about, you'll never find it hard.
With my business, I committed from the start of at least two years of hard work.
Once I set my mind this way, I continued to push myself and didn't give up.
I wasn't expecting any money coming in sooner than two years so that I couldn't get disappointed.
I prefer a full year of hard work and collecting rewording points for the rest of my life, instead of working in a cubical office or, as I did, in a stressful environment for the rest of my life.
What about yourself?
By following the right steps, avoiding distractions, putting in the minimum necessary work, and having an open mind, the sky is still the limit.
#2- I Don't Know Much About the Internet
Do not let that put you off; most people who use the internet have no idea how it works.
If you know where the keys on your keyboard are, how many sugars you have in your coffee, and whether you have a big enough supply of chocolate to get you through (dark chocolate only and 100% organic, if possible), you'll be fine.
WHY STARTING A BLOG IS THE BEST IDEA FOR AN ONLINE BUSINESS?
1. Blogging is a powerful way to express yourself. It is the place where people find the real YOU.
2. By starting a blog, you can share your valuable information by communicating with others less formally. You don't need to use academic words to write your blog posts ( in fact, I advise you not to ). Being as natural as possible is the beauty of blogging.
3. A blog is easier to manage compared to a standard website. Do not require HTML skills and is a fun play.
4. You can play around and show your creativity as much as you like without doing any damages.
5. It is the perfect connection with your readers directly through the communication of comments. Comments on your blog are valuable in Google's eyes. With a regular website, you don't get that benefit.
6. Talking about Google rankings, a blog gives you constant new pages that search engines like Google love. It is an easy way to get regular search engine ranking benefits that websites often keep limiting. This is why most businesses incorporate a blog page within their main website.
7. Last but not least: You can generate a sustainable income with your blog by doing this with passion and the right way.
Assuming you have a story in mind and feel ready to start your blog, let's get all that scary techy stuff out of the way so you can relax and begin to write.
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO GET YOUR BLOGGING CAREER OFF THE GROUND
- Basic Internet knowledge.
- A creative mind to find your niche.
- A domain name. Register one here at the best price on the market.
- A Web Hosting service. This is my top recommendation.
- A platform for your blog. I will always recommend WordPress. (And you'll have access to it as soon as you sign in with your web hosting service provider).
- A professional WordPress theme to make your blog look pretty and ready to make you money.
FIND YOUR NICHE – WHAT CAN YOU BLOG ABOUT?
The topic you'll choose to write about is called: “niche” in the internet marketing language.
If you decided to start a blog, you'd have to come up with a niche.
I know that you are excited and eager to start working on your blog as soon as possible.
It is effortless to pick a niche that you might think is profitable and make you lots of money just because you read some articles about people who are making a killing.
When we're talking about online business, many of us make a big mistake believing that all they have to do to become successful online is to put up a website, and then the money will roll in.
Let Me Give You an Example
When I first heard about an online business's potential, after reading a few blog posts about how great it is to start your blog and make money online, guess what I did?
I searched immediately on the term: ‘the most profitable niche to make money online.'
Everyone was betting on those niches: Make Money Online Niche, Weight Loss, Fashion, Health & Lifestyle.
Today, I can see people making a consistent income online with any possible niche.
For example, Elna Cane is a successful mompreneur who's blogging about her experience as a tweens mother. She's doing this in a very productive way.
Once you set up your blog, Elna's course will teach you how to bring quality traffic to your business and get noticed online.
Back to my story, I went there, sign up for a free web hosting platform (big mistake), and started a fashion website. (This should bring me lots of money, right?).
I thought that if I slap in a few outsourced articles and fill up the site with affiliate banners and links, I will make a killing.
Why Outsourced, You're Asking?
I didn't know much about fashion; it is not one of my strongest links.
I paid a few freelancers to write articles for me, and I was waiting for miracles.
In less than a couple of months, I realized that I couldn't keep going like that.
The outsourcing work was too expensive, and on the other hand, nothing got me excited.
It wasn't something to find myself in. I find it boring and tiring, so I give up quickly.
#1- Is a Good Idea to Hiring a Freelancer?
You should consider hiring a freelancer when you established your business and need to delegate some work to get rid of the overload amount of work so you can focus on other essential parts of your business—something like marketing.
If you still think that a freelancer is what you need to write your articles, please keep in mind that they are only copywriters.
They research your blog topic and rewrite the same ideas in different words.
What you have to do is to take that article and add a bit of your personality.
REMEMBER: blogging is about your experience.
People would want to know YOU.
They come back to visit your blog posts because they like the way you inspire them.
They might like your humor, or they get connected in some way with your life story.
#2- What Exactly Is a Niche?
A niche is an area of interest where people are searching online for solutions to specific problems.
So, you will need to know what you would love to blog about.
#3- Can I Have a Blog Related to More Topics?
Yes, you can, but I don't recommend it.
You will have to build a brand around the niche you pick. If you write about everything, it would be hard to identify as an expert.
You should find the best niche to identify with and then break it down into more categories.
From the start, I would recommend you focus on one topic, come up with 10-12 blog post headlines, and slowly as you expand, add more categories related to the main topic.
If you can't come up with 10-12 blog post ideas, you will have to reconsider your niche as it might not be the right one.
All niches divide into sub-niches, and this is where I need you to focus.
No matter what area you choose to build your business in, you have to find a sub-niche with low competition, but that also has many people searching for it.
Please don't make the same big mistake as I did and start a blog just for the sake of making money. It won't work.
Choose something you enjoy talking about, and you can provide value, but at the same time, you need to make sure there is a paying market available too.
This will have to keep you excited for years. It is critical that you like to write about it.
ARE YOU EAGER TO START YOUR BLOG?
Most people are scared off by the techy stuff of uploading to the world wide web and creating an online presence, but this is far easier than you think.
Start the stopwatch, and I will show you how to start a blog and make money with it in almost 20 minutes.
OK, maybe you'll need a bit longer time if this is entirely new for you, but anyway, for sure won't take you months, like me.
You can create something beautiful that matters.
Ps: Please don't forget that if you purchase any of my recommended tools or products/services via my links, get in touch and let me know what you need to get your business started. I will love to hear from you and do my best to help.
