One of the main benefits that attract people to internet marketing besides the lifestyle provided by this business is the low start-up cost required compared to other offline businesses such as buying a franchise for example that can go up to a few thousand bucks and maybe more.
What I have noticed is that you always find people that are interested in buying a product but cannot really afford it. Doesn’t matter if it is a house, a car, or a boat. It has been in our nature to often want to get more than what we can afford.
If you would want to sell land and you place it on the market for $50,000 you will get interested people that want to buy it, but they will offer you $20,000 max because it is all they can afford.
If you want to sell your house for $500,000 you get people that would love to buy but can only afford $200,000.
I am sure we both agree here.
There is nothing wrong with getting a bargain or negotiating a better price, in fact, it is advisable to do so, but you will always find people that are just being totally unrealistic in their expectations.
Internet Marketing is No Different
Since the start-up costs are very low you will find a lot of bottom dwellers. Most of the people out there, expect to get everything for free.
They are simply not prepared to invest any of their own money in their business and, by implication, in themselves.
They want to get a free website, free hosting, free domain name, free advertising, free software, free (and step-by-step) information on making money online, etc.
There is a lot of free information, products, and tools on the internet and there is no reason to buy something that is available for free. I can agree with this.
However, the important thing is that you acquire the right tools to be able to build a REAL business.
If you can get the tool for free, great!
If you cannot get the right tool for free, then you should be willing to pay for it. Don’t expect to get everything for free, you will never produce great results.
This is Telling Me One Thing
If you consider starting an online BUSINESS with absolutely zero cost to you then you are in the wrong place, my friend so, walk away.
Online business is still a business.
If you have an entrepreneurial mindset, you know where I am pointing to.
Treat it as it is and you will be able to create your desired lifestyle, treat it as a hobby and you will profit from it just like a hobby.
I read this somewhere and I really like it as it tells a lot.
If you would like to create your own product and sell it; you will need suitable tools/software/training in helping you to bring this alive, and so on.
A common argument is why should you pay for information that you can obtain for free, somewhere on the internet.
I would much rather spend $10 buying the information that someone else took hours, days or even weeks to compile. It simply makes no sense to me to waste several hours searching for information just to save a couple of dollars.
Ok, if you do not have a couple of dollars to start off with I understand. Some people simply have a lot more time than money…
Being a Scrooge makes no sense unless you put no value on your time.
The Other Side of The Coin…
Many newbies simply buy just about every single new product they can get their hands on.
They stock such a lot of stuff on their hard drives that it will take them weeks to read through everything!
They buy products, but don’t use them. What a waste!
I remember a time when one marketer says that she keeps an accurate list of all buyers and that there have been several instances where a buyer bought exactly the same product without even knowing it!
Remember the story about chasing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?
There is no point in buying one product after the other without putting it to good use.
Why would you spend your hard-earned money on a product you never open and never try to put it into action, when you are better off out for a dinner with your loved once.
Ask yourself the following questions before buying:
- Do I need it? Is it an essential tool?
- Do I need it right now or at least in the very near future?
- Can I find the time to make full use of it?
- Can I follow the program strictly without chasing other shiny objects?
Unless you answer “Yes” to all these questions, think twice about buying.
Instead of going yourself crazy and try all kinds of products out there, with no results why not follow what works for others and keep it clean and safe.
I tripled my income and grew my online presence by following this complete system which helped hundreds of internet marketers online, produces amazing results, and never fails to disappoint. I was struggling for long, so, I am sure it will do the same for you.
